How to Apply (The Katarina Method)

This product is all about technique.

The biggest mistake I see is applying it like a traditional sunscreen. Sunbetter Tone Smart needs to be warmed up and worked into the skin.

My recommended application:

1. Apply your moisturizer first and allow it to absorb.

2. Pump the sunscreen into the palm of your hand.

3. Massage your hands together to warm up the product.

4. Allow the tone-adapting technology to activate.

5. Press and massage the sunscreen into your skin, taking your time to blend.

Do not simply swipe it on and leave it sitting on top of the skin.

When properly warmed and massaged in, the formula adapts beautifully and creates that natural, healthy-looking finish.

This is one of my treatment room favorites—and I sell out of it constantly.

I think this product sometimes gets misunderstood because people do not know the correct application technique. This is not a sunscreen you quickly rub on and walk away from.
